About Us – The Legend of Ogre

Every great realm has its hero. Ours just happens to be a little louder, a little saltier, and a lot more charismatic than most. Meet Lenny—better known (lovingly) as Ogre—the boisterous, big-hearted owner of Enchanted Realms Games & Gifts, and the reason this place exists at all.

Right after finishing almost 12 years of service in the U.S. Army, Ogre swapped camo for card sleeves and started building a new life—right from our kitchen table. The games were fierce, the snacks were plentiful, and the guest bedroom slowly disappeared under a growing mountain of approximately 100,000 trading cards.

When we moved back to Colorado Springs, Ogre popped into his favorite local game shop—only to find it was in serious trouble.

His response? “Give me three weeks and your trust.”

Three weeks later, the shop was not just alive—it was thriving. That was back in 2019, and Ogre’s been leading this community ever since, fueled by caffeine, competitive spirit, and the occasional well-timed sarcastic remark.

In 2022, he finally bought the business outright—for the princely sum of three whole dollars—and made it officially his own sanctuary. It’s where he works, plays, laughs, and occasionally lectures someone on their questionable deck-building choices.

We’re a family-run, veteran-owned shop with shelves full of games, gifts, and collectibles, and tables always ready for battles, co-ops, and questionable alliances. Eventually, Dr. EV (Ogre’s far more organized and slightly more patient wife) came on board to wrangle the admin side of things—much to the relief of both Ogre and the accountant. Ogre may be a little saltier these days, but he’s still here for the same reason he started: the people who make this community amazing.
